Follow WGT news and programme updates
Before and during Wave-Gotik-Treffen, new information can affect your plans. WGT Kompaß brings together news supplied for the app and helps you prepare your visit using the information available to you.
Festival news in three languages
WGT news is available in German, English and French. Read the full item and check its publication date: an older article may refer to a previous edition or an earlier programme version. The official festival website is also linked for organiser information.
Notifications and device settings
If you want notifications, allow them in your device settings. Delivery needs a connection and may be restricted by device settings. Check important information directly in the app as well, rather than relying solely on a notification to reach you.
Review the effect on your timetable
If a news item concerns one of your selected events, open the programme and check its time and venue again. New articles and programme updates need internet. A stored view can show an earlier state, especially after spending a long time offline.
How to use this feature
- Open news in your preferred language.
- Read the full item, including its date and context.
- Review any affected events in your plan.
- Enable device notifications if you want them.
